Yes, I was sick the whole day yesterday. And it's a big deal for me. Why? I don't get sick that often. The last time I had high fever when we went to Mindoro last 2005 for our thesis. I was sick for almost a week! My professor even wanted to call a quack doctor to heal me but I strongly refused because I don't believe on them. So instead of contributing to my classmates for our thesis, I was there in the house resting and most of the time lying on the sofa.

Thursday, the weather was so hot and I was so thirsty. I couldn't find my tumbler because I left it somewhere in the Primary School Dept. I kept looking for it but I really can't find it. So on my way to the cafeteria to buy juice, I saw this fruit shake stall (for the seniors' accounting subject) and bought a medium-sized mango shake. Yaaaay mango shake. But take note, I drank this mango shake after teaching 3 classes which means, my vocal chords were kinda stressed already. That afternoon, my voice started to become hoarse and my throat also started to become itchy.

Friday, I have no voice already. I also had headache then (I mentioned that already to xiadrack when we were chatting that afternoon). But then I had to sub for 3 PE classes plus my music subject for that day. I super enjoyed that day because that's my first time to play badminton. Really. I never played any ball games before because I thought I can't hit it. But miraculously, I hit the shuttlecock so smoothly, but still missed some. Aaaah I really can't believe I was able to hit the shuttlecock back to my opponent, which was first, a 1st year student, then a grade 5, and a grade 3. They were soooo good. I really enjoyed it that I forgot to change my wet shirt, and went straight to our employees' chorale rehearsal in an air-conditioned room. And even I was feeling not okay already, I stayed late that night to watch the season finale of Survivor Philippines Palau.

Yesterday, I woke up 7AM in the morning because I wanted to attend our orchestra rehearsal. I had high fever and headache already so I slept again thinking that when I wake up at 9AM I'd be okay. But it became worse T_T And I really hated being sick that day because I have to meet some people that afternoon which I was supposed to meet Friday night (I postponed it because of the Survivor Philippines ). That morning was weird because I didn't want to eat anything. I ate like 2 tablespoons of rice and sunny-side-up egg (which was my favorite) and 2 bites of cupcake for lunch (it was also my favorite cupcake). I just drank 2 glasses of pineapple juice plus Tylenol ewww! So I just rested/slept the whole day.

And now I'm kinda okay I want to attend the worship service later. I want to be there! I don't want to be absent. But I think we'll move the choir rehearsal to another time since most of us will be going home early for the Paquiao-Cotto fight.
